This past week, the Hill Country Humane Society and its dedicated partners came together to make a real, measurable impact for animals and families throughout Central Texas. At a focused Trap-Neuter- Return (TNR) clinic, 50 community cats were spayed or neutered, preventing countless future litters and improving quality of life for these animals.

This effort was made possible through the coordination of Hill Country Cats, a network of committed volunteers and caretakers, and the support of the BISSELL Pet Foundation’s Fix the Future program, which provided veterinary asule sistance to make this life saving work possible.

In addition, HCHS hosted a free vaccine and microchip clinic, where 350 pets received essential care, including microchips and DHPP, HCP, and rabies vaccines. With the help of Petco Love’s Vaccinated and Loved program, the clinic offered disease prevention and basic veterinary care at no cost to families, helping protect pets and stretch critical resources further.
