City raises concerns about mine’s permit renewal

Marble Falls City Council recently approved the filing of a protest with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) against Huber Carbonates LLC, which operates a limestone and mining facility, just off Avenue N. Unanimously, the council gave thumbs-up to the protest during its May 20 meeting in City Hall at 800 Third St.

Marble Falls City Council recently approved the filing of a protest with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) against Huber Carbonates LLC, which operates a limestone and mining facility, just off Avenue N.

Unanimously, the council gave thumbs-up to the protest during its May 20 meeting in City Hall at 800 Third St.

Huber recently submitted to TCEQ its application for an amendment and renewal of its air quality permit.
