Huey Todd Corry

Horseshoe Bay, Texas - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Huey Todd Corry Jr on May 21, 2025. Todd was born on October 4, 1948, in Dallas, Texas to Bettye and Huey Todd Corry Sr. While Todd grew up in Dallas and grew his career there, he eventually moved to Houston in 1999 and later happily retired in Horseshoe Bay.

Horseshoe Bay, Texas - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Huey Todd Corry Jr on May 21, 2025. Todd was born on October 4, 1948, in Dallas, Texas to Bettye and Huey Todd Corry Sr. While Todd grew up in Dallas and grew his career there, he eventually moved to Houston in 1999 and later happily retired in Horseshoe Bay.

Todd was known for being a great father, caring husband, and true friend to so many. Todd enjoyed his career as CEO of Way Engineering, where his wit and supportive nature made him a respected leader. Todd had a zest for life and will be missed for his endearing laugh, love of nature, and outgoing spirit! He was the biggest fan of his beloved Arizona Sun Devils, and had a passion for dining and sweet treats!. He loved traveling often to Colorado and Jackson Hole as well as other places throughout the US and world. On trips he especially enjoyed leisurely driving around while sightseeing and exploring potential real estate opportunities.

He is survived by his loving wife Gayle Hahn, whom he married in November 2019, his son Trey Corry, daughterin- law Marci Corry, grandchildren Caroline and Colt Corry, step-grandchildren Breanne, Presley, and Avery, and step-sons Scott and

A memorial service was held at one o’clock in the afternoon on Wednesday the 28th of May 2025 at The Church at Horseshoe Bay Chapel.

Immediately following, a reception was held in the Fellowship Hall at The Church at Horseshoe Bay.

A private family crypt side service and entombment was held at Hillcrest Mausoleum and Memorial Park, 7405 West Northwest Highway in Dallas, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N Michigan Ave. Floor 17 Chicago, IL 60601 or to The Church at Horseshoe Bay, PO Box 8295, Horseshoe Bay, TX 78657.
