Jury sentences pantry founder for child sex abuse

A 70-year-old Granite Shoals pantry founder received a sentence of almost 30 years in prison following the outcome of a week-long child sexual abuse trial. Guerrero was found guilty after three hours of deliberation by a Burnet County jury on May 22.

A 70-year-old Granite Shoals pantry founder received a sentence of almost 30 years in prison following the outcome of a week-long child sexual abuse trial.

Guerrero was found guilty after three hours of deliberation by a Burnet County jury on May 22. The punishment was assessed on May 23. 33rd Judicial District Judge Allan Garrett presided.

The jury came to a unanimous decision on count 1, aggravated sex- ual assault of a child.
