Award-winning quilter, fiber artist, and teacher Kim Oleson brings 35 years of knowledge and experience to the Highland Lakes Quilt Guild’s June 18 monthly membership meeting and program at First Methodist Church of Marble Falls.
Oleson’s fascination with fiber began in 1990 when she first learned to sew and continued throughout her college years studying textiles, design, and printed-surface design.
Her creative art style continued to evolve earning her numerous awards in quilting including recognition from the prestigious American Quilter’s Society (AQS) Choice Award and the National Association of Certified Quilt Judges’ Award of Merit for Outstanding Achievement in Quilt-making. Through her website, QuiltaholicsAnonymous. com, she offers on-demand quilt classes and quilt patterns.
