The City of Horseshoe Bay Development Services Department is hosting a Builders Meeting on Wednesday June 11, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Horseshoe Bay City Hall Council Chambers, located at 1 Community Drive.
The agenda includes implementation of a new online system of permits, contractor registration, short-term rental registration and planning development; An iWorQ tutorial, including a question-and-answer session; new building codes and general contractor registration and fees as a result of new ordinances that have been adopted; Dark Sky-compliant outdoor light fixtures for all new construction; Fire-wise building practices on construction sites; code enforcement topics such as erosion control measures, pre-construction meetings for all news projects, permit expiration issues and job site conditions; and missed or skipped inspections on construction projects, along with building code Q&A.
