Granite Shoals eyeing discolored water mystery

Granite Shoals is still plagued by remnants of a water main break that resulted in a boil-water notice and shut down of much of the city’s water supply May 5. City council members heard complaints at their regular meeting May 28 about water discoloration and odors in homes.
The break took city crews most of a day to fix and was blamed on the failure of a gasket at a water main connection. File photo
