After an hour-long executive session in which they discussed the matter, Llano County commissioners voted on Monday, June 2, to transfer $300,000 from unencumbered non-allocated contingency funds to the Llano Regional Hospital to help in operations.
It’s the second time commissioners have transferred money to the hospital. In January they shifted $450,000 to the hospital.
The hospital has needed help since MidCoast Health Systems of El Campo elected to quit operating the facility earlier this year.
