A new program with an eye on cultivating confidence and skill makes its

debut in the Highland Lakes.

Highland Lakes Elite (HLE) will offer dance, cheer and tumbling for young team members throughout the area. The gym and dance studio is located at 713 Euel Moore Dr. in Kingsland.

“Although the company may be new, both of us have been involved in dance, cheer and tumbling the majority of our lives,” said Coach Haley Booe.

Co-coach Alyssa Caracheo is an integral part for the program as well.

Alyssa added, “I’m really excited to get to use our talents, gifts and love for the sport to teach the youth and travel the state to compete and have fun. At a price that gives the opportunity to more kids - getting out in the community and making connections.”

At ages 6 and 8, Alyssa and Haley started out as teammates in Allstar Cheer, previously the sole private dance and tumble program in Marble Falls.

Over the last five years, the duo became best friends while coaching for a local youth team and decided to launch their own team as business partners.

Their prior experience included amassing multiple National Championship titles in AllStar Cheer as well as a 2022 World Championship title Pom Dance for a routine choreographed by Alyssa.

Through years spent together, their families have merged as one.

Haley’s mom and volunteer coach, Linda, serves as “Team Mom”.

“Linda’s 18-plus years helping Haley shine has given her tons of experience in the sport,” Alyssa shared. “She’s present to help catch and prevent any issues as well as be an extra advocate for each athlete.”

Both Alyssa and Haley’s spouses, Julian and Aidin, are known for doing a lot of “heavy lifting” for the program. As co-coach volunteers for HLE, they bring their own past experience working with local youth.

“From carrying pom-poms to offering a shoulder to cry on, Julian Caracheo and Aidin Parnell are a supportive and essential part to the operation,” Haley said.

Growing up, both Alyssa and Haley were fortunate enough to have families that gave their all for opportunities to succeed.

“It’s a blessing and a dream come true to make this company a reality,” Haley said.

The new program relies on sponsorships, fundraisers and donations to transport youngsters to competition, pay for entry fees, assist with uniforms and equipment as well as keep the lights on at the gym.

“We understand fundraising is sometimes a necessity. Our athletes will have many fundraising and community giveback opportunities,” Haley continued. “HLE’s first season will focus on Competitive Pom & Hip-Hop Dance, Tumbling Training, correcting technique and building individual self confidence in each athlete.

“As the company grows, Competitive Allstar Cheer and more dance options will be added,” she added.

Both Alyssa and Haley feel like their calling is working with our local youth.

“Highland Lakes Elite’s goal is to give the local youth a safe place to enjoy dance, cheer, and tumbling at an affordable, transparent rate with all inclusivity – no wait lists or being turned away,” Haley said. “At Highland Lakes Elite we have a spot for everyone.”

Class registration information is forthcoming and support opportunities are available.
