Campaign takes aim at DUI ahead of Independence Day

More than 1,000 people were killed in DUI-alcohol related crashes on Texas roads last year. To help highlight the real cost to families, friends and communities across the state, TxDOT is sharing stories from drunk driving offenders and survivors in an interactive exhibit.

More than 1,000 people were killed in DUI-alcohol related crashes on Texas roads last year. To help highlight the real cost to families, friends and communities across the state, TxDOT is sharing stories from drunk driving offenders and survivors in an interactive exhibit.

TxDOT is launching its Drive Sober. No Regrets. campaign with a traveling Faces of Drunk Driving video exhibit, www.soberrides.org/ faces-of-drunk-driving/.

The videos will share emotional, first-person stories demonstrating the real, tangible consequences associated with drunk driving and reminding Texans what they have to lose.
