Marble Falls City Council recently approved funds to repair part of Bluebonnet Drive, especially between FM 1431 and Pony Drive near H-E-B Groceries.

The council approved funds of more than $246,450 for the road repairs during its June 17 meeting at city hall, 800 Third St.

After viewing higher bids from two other firms, the council chose Bennett Paving to tackle the job, including placement of concrete supports to reduce friction.
