Foreign student sentenced for defrauding senior citizens

An Indian national was sentenced to 63 months in prison for conspiracy to commit money laundering, according to a June 18 press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Western District of Texas.

Kishan Rajeshkumar Patel, 20, of Navsari, Gujarat was living in the U.S. on a student visa, while reporting to have been residing in Dallas.
