A recent event featuring women who served in the armed forces ranging in ages from 22 to 88 years old was a great success.

The Burnet VFW Post 6974 and the Patrick M Goble American Legion Post 0974 hosted 20 attendees for their first luncheon on 28 June.

Special speakers such as the Burnet County Veteran Service Officer Bill Worley, the “Homes for Heroes” representatives, the Burnet County Women Veterans Alliance and Burnet County Vetride shared useful information geared towards women veterans.
