Marble Falls EDC approves local arts grant

During its recent meeting, the Marble Falls Economic Development Corporation board approved two items on its regular agenda.

After reviewing a request from Highland Lakes Creative Arts, the board approved a community leverage grant of $19,000 for various programs including the Art Walk, Paint the Town and Sculpture on Main events.

EDC board members Mark Mayfield, Judy Miller, Ryan Nash and Lindsay Plante stipulated the grant would not become available until after October 1, when Fiscal Year 2026 begins.
