What started out as an event-packed AquaBoom celebration – street dance, parades, crafts show, fireworks over the water – turned into a flood nightmare around the Hill Country and Highland Lakes. AquaBoom, a nonprofit separate from the Kingsland Chamber, immediately stepped up with a promise to hold the cancelled events on Labor Day weekend, Aug.
