Church hosts flood recovery worship session
Josh Garza led community members in a moment of silent prayer with prompts for grieving with God, af- fected families, those displaced, helpers and first re sponders, and concluded with hope and healing.

Church of Marble Falls became a sacred space of unity, healing, and hope as the community gathered in the aftermath of devastating floods. What had been a week of heartbreak and uncertainty found a moment of peace as voices joined in worship and hearts turned toward God.

The flooding event unfolded on the even of Independence Day, and in its aftermath, has left at least four people dead in Burnet County with a first responder still missing. (See related story on Page 1).

At the worship gathering, faith leader Edward Tucker welcomed attendees with warmth and compassion, inviting them to lay down their burdens and find strength in fellowship.
