The Falls on the Colorado Museum will host an art exhibit July 14Aug. 16, featuring the work of Iraqi-born artist Mhmood Goyani of Marble Falls. The exhibit will include his paintings that reflect life

that exists in Central Texas as well as his previous life in Iraq.

In the last week, Goyani completed a painting titled “The Fragility of Life,” showing the symbol of a little girl in the middle of a very angry nature,” Goyani said. “She is moving her small, simple hands as if she is trying to defend herself and resist the disaster with her very small body, but hope is always present. The skyblue color is the key to the painting, and it represents hope and the future.” This painting was donated to the fundraiser hosted by Save the World on Saturday, July 12 to help raise funds for those affected by the recent floods.
