Narcotics dealer sentenced to 40 years

Donald Riggs, 43, of San Saba, Texas was sentenced to 40 years in prison after a drug distribution guilty plea in the 33rd Judicial District Court of Llano County.

Judge Allan Garrett presided over the trial for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

Riggs was arrested on October 18, 2024 following a lengthy investigation into the distribution of narcotics into the Llano County and San Saba County areas as the result of a joint effort by the Llano County Sheriff’s Department, the San Saba County Sheriff’s Department, the San Saba Police Department and the Marble Falls Police Department. Based on information obtained during the investigation, Riggs was stopped while operating a vehicle in Llano County.
