Museo Benini hosts raconteur
W.C. Jameson will speak at the Museo Benini Saturday and Sunday, July 19 and 20, both days starting at 2 p.m. Admission is free, but seating is limited so

Historic mysteries, Texas train robberies, wild tales of adventures pursuing buried treasures, saluting fellow Texas writers – these kinds of questions and exciting pursuits have captivated the mind and writings of octogenarian W. C. Jameson for his entire life. He is a featured speaker at Museo Benini July 19 and July 20 to share these exciting tales. He is as great a storyteller as he is a Texas treasure himself. Seating is limited, text or call 830-385-1471 for reservations. Admission is free.

Jameson’s adventures fill 110 published books, some will be available at the event, and he may sign a copy upon request. He is considered the best-selling treasure author in America. His book, “Treasure Hunter: Caches, Curses, and Confrontations,” was named Indie Reader Book of the Year in 2011.

The History Channel, the Discovery Channel, the Travel Channel, and the American Heroes Channel called on Jameson for advisory and narrator roles. He has also made guest appearances on NPR, PBS, Nightline, and Coast to Coast.
