As floodwaters subside, one community has grappled with maintaining a water supply that’s safe to drink.
On July 15, the city of Marble Falls placed its citizens and businesses under a “Boil Water Notice” starting at 4 p.m. “due to the drinking water supply being compromised by recent flooding.”
Officials posted the notice on their social media page and conducted a 9-1-1 robocall to inform residents.
