Despite high hopes and months of preparation, the 2025 Marble Falls Triathlon saw a significant
last-minute change due to lake conditions. Held Saturday, July 27, at Lakeside Park, the popular annual event was restructured into a duathlon after organizers made the difficult but necessary decision to cancel the swim portion of the race.
“After careful consideration and continued monitoring of the lake, we made the call to eliminate the swim,” organizers announced. “It wasn’t what we had hoped for, but the safety of our participants remains our highest priority.”
