A multiple vehicle collision in Spicewood on Texas 71 injured 18 people on Thursday, July 31, with 15 of those injured sent to the hospital.
Burnet County ESD No. 9 reported around 5:19 p.m. that crews were working a collision on Texas 71 near Deerpath Way in Spicewood.
Multiple helicopters were reportedly at the scene and that all lanes of the highway were temporarily closed.
