There’s a cadre of skilled men out there who are ready to start the burners, calibrate their ovens, and join other food afficionados at the annual Men Who Cook event, the Highland Lakes tastiest fundraiser. 100% of the proceeds from Men Who Cook go to support Highland Lakes Family Crisis Center’s life saving shelter, advocacy and therapy services.
The event is held at Lakeside Pavilion, 305 Buena Vista Dr. in Marble Falls, from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21.
Here’s a chance to show off your culinary skills as a participating chef while helping to raise money to support Highland Lakes Family Crisis Center, an institution in Marble Falls which provides safe refuge, hope and healing for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Blanco, Burnet Lampasas and Llano counties.
