The Highland Arts Guild and Gallery is offering a free oil painting demonstration on painting value, color mixing, layout and design.
The instructor will be Rusty Jones. His paintings are known for capturing the rugged beauty of the American West.
Jones attended Texas A&M and the University of Texas at Austin, graduating with an advanced degree in medical illustration. After a successful career, he retired to McKinney where he paints in studio or on location. His work is available in many prominent galleries.
