Burnet County Commissioners Court announced plans to set a new total tax rate of .3323 per $100 of property valuation through Fiscal Year 2026, set to begin Oct. 1, 2025.
The commissioners announced the new rate during their Aug. 12 meeting.
Formal adoption of the rate is anticipated to occur during a public hearing on the FY 2026 budget Aug.
