The thing I love about living in Kingsland is that I can walk to most places from my tiny home near HEB. So, when AquaBoom returns this Friday through Sunday, I will be right in the heart of the action for the events that were re-scheduled due to July floods. Join me for the fun Aqua- Boom and beyond happenings on Saturday, August 30: 7:30 a.m. – Big Parade lineup begins at Packsaddle Elemen- tary on RM 2900. I will be there with Cynthia Green, parade coordinator, to greet the floats.

Decorate to the max and show the magic of Kingsland/ Lake LBJ. Parade starts at 10 a.m.

9 a.m. – The Children’s Parade is precious – tykes on trikes and more. Meet up near Buddie’s One-Stop parking lot, corner of 2900 and 1431.

10 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Arts & Crafts Fair at Kingsland Community Church, 1136 RM 1431, across from the Chamber & Visitor Center office.
