Let’s Be Brief allows nonprofit organizations to get word out to the community of upcoming events and happenings of interest. Briefs should ideally be 50 words or fewer and be written in complete sentences. Submissions are not guaranteed and based upon space availability and rotation considerations with other brief notices. Blazing Star

Blazing Star Lodge, 319 Ave. G in Marble Falls, will be serving up hamburgers and cheeseburgers with all the trimmings, fries, tea, coffee, water and desserts Friday Oct. 10, from 1 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a $15 donation.
