The Highland Lakes community came together Sunday evening, Aug.t 24, at Putters & Gutters in Marble Falls for the Ark of Highland Lakes Flood Relief Benefit. The concert and fundraiser, supported by the Burnet County Sheriff’s Office and the Rotary Clubs of Marble Falls (Daybreak and Noon) and Burnet, featured an evening of live music, auctions, and heartfelt testimonies – all to support flood survivors across Burnet County.

Musical performances included The Outlaw Firm, Mike Blakely, John M. Greenberg, John Arthur Martinez, and Gary P. Nunn & Friends. Guests enjoyed a barbecue dinner while bidding in live and silent auctions, with every dollar raised going directly toward recovery efforts.

The Ark of Highland Lakes launched its flood response on July 5 at the request of local emergency management. The flood event caused tens of thousands of dollars in damage and temporarily displaced families, primarily in the Burnet area with some flooding issues in the Kingsland area as well.
