Burnet County flood victims should know the Burnet County Disaster Center has relocated.

Several weeks ago, soon after the July 4 flood hurt hundreds of residents, the center opened its doors to assist victims in Burnet at the Community Center at 401 E. Jackson.

According to County Emergency Management Coordinator Derek Marchio, as of Aug. 25, the new flood relief office will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday (except Sept. 1, Labor Day) in Burnet at the Texas AgriLife Extension Office, 607 N. Vandeveer.
