Kicking off the Homecoming football game, Marble Falls ISD proudly recognized three exceptional alumni as its 2025 Mustang Ambassadors, celebrating their achievements, service, and continued connection to the community. The Mustang Ambassador honor is reserved for graduates who not only distinguish themselves through their accomplishments but also serve as role models for current students and points of pride for the entire district.
Lane Bingham (Class of 2014) was honored for his notable dedication to service through aviation, where his skills and commitment have allowed him to protect, support, and serve communities both locally and across the state. A Texas A&M graduate, he serves as a UH-60 Blackhawk instructor pilot with the Texas Army National Guard, flying missions such as firefighting, flood response, and searchand- rescue – including rescue efforts throughout central Texas during the July floods. Bingham also works as a corporate pilot and credits MFISD teachers and coaches with shaping his life.
Stan Whittle (Class of 1996) has served Marble Falls ISD for 13 of his 26 years in education, beginning as a teacher and coach in 2001 and now leading as assistant superintendent of Administration. Deeply invested in the community, he coaches youth baseball, volunteers with his church, and supports FCA. He and his wife Holly, also a MFHS alumnus, have three children, one a MFHS graduate and two currently attending MFHS. He says his favorite part of MFISD is “the students and seeing them excel in all of their extracurricular activities.” Jennifer Fierro (Class of 1992) has built a career in journalism and broadcasting while highlighting Highland Lakes athletes. After earning her degree from Abilene Christian University and working in media across the Southwest, she returned to Marble Falls, where she is known for TexasChalkTalk.com and her YouTube channel, The Broad Sportscaster. Fierro says she loves highlighting the Mustangs’ and Lady Mustangs’ accomplishments and watching the tiniest youth athletes grow into varsity players eager to carry on their families’ legacy, and she feels blessed to be part of a community that passionately supports its young athletes.
