Church, Kingsland food pantry to part ways

After a decade-long partnership, Sharing the Harvest food pantry has opted to relocate from the Kingsland First Baptist Church property after a breakdown in negotiations.

“Sharing the Harvest is awesome. They’re faithful, compassionate and consistent. They go above and beyond. I love what they do,” said First Baptist Church Pastor David Henneke. “I fully expect them to keep on doing what they do or do it even better.

“This gives them the freedom to expand without feeling pressured to do it in a certain way.”
