Collaborations are underway for Sharing the Harvest-Kingsland (STH) to move into their new home by December 1, 2025. The pantry originated in 1994 by Helen Carpenter with a vision of the food pantry becoming a family of churches and organizations serving community needs. STH became a standalone 501c3 in 2016 after substantial growth and expansion of service to meet the needs of the community. In 2024, the nonprofit served over 28,000 individuals and 8,032 households. By early 2025, that number escalated to more than 1,000 individuals a week.

Located on the Kingsland First Baptist Church property at 3435 RR 1431, STH could not meet the Church’s new lease of $4,500 a month. A counteroffer was made in the hopes of getting through the holiday season but denied by the Church.
