The City of Marble Falls invites the community to join us in Downtown Marble Falls for the 8th Annual Pink Out event on Thursday, Oct. 9, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at
Harmony Park (Third and Main).
Pink Out is held each October in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and brings the community together to raise awareness, share resources, and show support for those impacted by cancer, while also serving as a fundraiser for local foundations.
This year’s event will feature food and drink vendors, games, and a variety of informational booths from local hospitals and medical professionals on breast cancer screenings and general cancer information.
Marble Falls Fire Rescue, Burnet Police Department, Marble Falls Police Department, and Marble Falls EMS will all be on-site with activities and opportunities to engage with the community.
Adding to the fun, there will be a dunk tank (dunking booth) where attendees can try their luck at dunking Marble Falls Mayor John Packer and Marble Falls Fire Rescue Assistant Fire Chief Coy Guenter.
The day’s festivities will kick off at 10 a.m. with a skydiver launching from Granite Shoals and landing in front of the Marble Falls Fire Station.
Spectators are encouraged to arrive by 9:45 a.m. to get parked and in place before the landing.
Parking is available at the Marble Falls Public Safety Facility, Marble Falls Fire Rescue and Childers Baseball Park (across the street) – all in the 600 block of Avenue N.
