During the upcoming meeting, as part of its regular agenda, Marble Falls City Council plans to reduce the boundaries of a public improvement district (PID) to help finance development of the new Roper Ranch.
The meeting is scheduled to begin 6 p.m. Oct. 7 at City Hall, 800 Third St.
If approved by council, property owners within the Roper PID would be obligated to pay “special assessment” taxes to continue financial support for the new development, located on roughly 325 acres near U.S. 281 and FM 2147.
