Granite Shoals authorities are taking aim at illegal poaching as the community grapples with an overabundance of deer.
Authorities arrested a yet-to-be identified suspect in connection with “suspected illegal poaching activity” and “reports of several dead bucks and does.”
“There is not a poaching charge against him at this time, but it’s in relation to that. This individual is a suspect in regard to that matter,” Granite Shoals Police Chief John Ortis told The Highlander.
