Officials reported a brisk turnout on the first day of early voting Oct. 20 among Sunrise Beach residents, who will decide the fate of Proposition A, which aims to change the city’s form of government.

Currently, the city operates in a mayor/council format.

The item on the ballot for the Nov. 4 election asks residents to vote yes or no on moving to a city manager/council format.
