Event a resounding success for Kingsland food pantry

The Hill Country Mah Jongg Tournament, held Tuesday, Oct. 21 at Log Country Cove, drew an impressive crowd and exceeded all expectations.

With 88 participants from across the Hill Country and even as far as Waco, Temple, and San Antonio, the event proved to be such a success that organizers announced it will now become an annual tradition.

The tournament raised over $10,000 to benefit Sharing the Harvest of Kingsland, providing much-needed funds as the organization
