As lower income residents and welfare recipients brace for a cut in federal food aid checks, local food pantries and nonprofit organizations vow to stick to their mission.

“We always seem to have enough food, so it's great,” said Executive Director Sam Pearce of The Helping Center of Marble Falls. “Keep coming and we'll keep handing them food.”
