Spicewood Library fund plans 2nd Gala for new building project

The estimated costs for Spicewood’s new library, determined a year ago, have since increased from $1.5 million to almost $2 million according to bid estimates from several local contractors.

As of Sept. 30, building funds stand at $892,000.

Fundraising continues with a second gala in January 2026 at the Marble Falls Lakeside Pavilion, plus additional opportunities to enjoy community events for the purpose of “raising a new roof.”
