Volunteers filled the First Baptist Church of Marble Falls with energy and purpose last week as the annual Operation Christmas Child project kicked into full swing.
The effort began Nov. 13, when volunteers of all ages gathered to fold more than 2,000 shoeboxes and organize rows of bins brimming with essentials and special gifts.
The goal: prepare everything needed for a weekend of packing thoughtful, joy-filled gift boxes for children around the world.
