Home values hold but interest rates have just about doubled

A sizable handful of residents have reported to me that their home valuations have remained flat from those assessed in 2023. That comes as no shock (well a little) given that interest rates are where they are.

It was reported this week that the average mortgage interest rate is 6.99%. Not too long ago, we heard rates around 3.50% quoted.
