The Marble Falls Light Up Parade ushered in the 2025 holiday season on Friday, December 5, stepping off at 6 p.m. and making its way down a brightly adorned Main Street.

Floats lined up at West Side Park before turning onto Main, where spectators, children perched on shoulders, families bundled in blankets, and longtime residents greeting neighbors filled the sidewalks from end to end.

Walkers alongside the floats kept the crowd smiling, handing out candy to eager youngsters, while Marble Falls ISD added a special touch by distributing free books that were received with pure delight.

Lights glittered from every direction, casting a festive glow across downtown as each float rolled by more dazzling than the last. This year’s Best Float honor went to Ascension Seton Highland Lakes Hospital and Clinics for their whimsical and heartwarming themed entry, which drew cheers all along the parade route.

The parade opened with the color guard, setting a proud and ceremonial tone.

Near the end, the Marble Falls High School Marching Band, cheerleaders and Starlettes brought high energy and holiday spirit before Santa and Mrs.

Claus arrived in grand fashion, waving from atop a fire truck as the perfect finale to a magical celebration.

A parade wouldnt be complete without the AquaBoom Royalty, who always bring a touch of patriotism to any procession.
