Marble Falls ISD trustees heard some bragging Monday at their regular meeting, learning that one of the district’s major bond projects, renovation of the softball field, is on schedule and doing well.
In an update report on the project, district bond director Mackie Price told the board there was “substantial progress toward our project goals.“ The existing grass has been removed, and the site is being prepared for the installation of new, lowmaintenance turf that will enhance appearance and reduce longterm maintenance.
Price’s update showed that the old fencing has been removed and new fencing is being installed, and work has begun on a new pond that should “contain and manage water runoff.”
