Groundwater board accepts $75K bid for building rehab

Groundwater board accepts $75K bid for building rehab

The Central Texas Groundwater Conservation District Board of Directors recently took steps to fund the renovations of a building that will soon be their new headquarters.

During its Dec. 19 meeting, the board accepted the low bid of up to $75,000 from KB Construction for the remodel and design work at 303 Bluebonnet Drive, the site of the district future headquarters. The relatively new building previously served as New Life Church. CTGCD has outgrown its current location, 225 South Pierce in Burnet.

Officials expect to move into the building by May 2026.
