Granite Shoals to refer complaint to sheriff's office

Granite Shoals to refer complaint to sheriff's office

After a closed session lasting more than an hour Wednesday, Dec. 17, Granite Shoals City Council members voted not to hire an independent investigator to check claims about alleged city wrongdoings.

The allegations, according to the special meeting agenda, read, “compliant (sic) concerning city manager pay increase, purchase of fire equipment, and reimbursement of travel expenses.”

It’s not clear from the agenda how, or whether, the three items are related.
