The Marble Falls Summer Concert Series entertains big crowds with an exciting set of popular, talented musicians. Officials say the entertainment value might be upstaged by the potential economic windfall.

Double Eagle Entertainment will promote the free admission Friday series for the fourth year through Aug. 10 in Marble Falls at Johnson Park, 230 Ave. J. In addition, there is a free concert planned for Thursday, July 4, along with a fireworks show. Series newcomers include acclaimed performers Cody Canada and Gary Hobbs.

Along with the Friday series, a ticketed finale will feature Aaron Watson Aug. 10 (a Saturday, while the free concerts are on Fridays). General admission tickets for the Watson show are $30 per adult and $75 per VIP. The main pavilion in Johnson Park will open as the primary stage area during the events. A stage is brought in for the paid finale concert.
