If you have been to Branson, Mo., and have heard Chuck Crain sing gospel music, you will be delighted to hear that he is coming to perform on Saturday, Jan. 24, at 3 p.m. at Grace Community Church, 4007 Valley View (just off RR 1431).
Chuck Crain started his singing career early during his time in the U.S. Navy’s Blue Jacket Choir.
After leaving the Navy, he traveled weekends with a gospel group.
In the early 1980s, Crain joined the Blackwood Brothers and performed around the world and on television.
He later found himself on stage with Wayne Newton.
Finally, he joined the Presley’s Country Jubilee Show in Branson, singing in the Southern Gospel Quartet.
