H-E-B taps MFISD counselor as Excellence finalist

Marble Falls High School (MFISD) Counselor Molly Heath was named an H-E-B Excellence in Education finalist this week.

Heath was surprised with an oversized check, cookies, balloons and the news of her recognition by a contingent from H-EB and MFISD administrators during a course selection presentation in a classroom Jan. 13 at the high school.

“I truly believed I hadn’t been selected as a finalist, so the surprise was overwhelming and still hasn’t fully sunk in,” Heath said. “I am incredibly grateful to H-E-B, my MFHS family for going above and beyond to surprise me, and to my family and friends for their endless love and support.”
