A “nature tracker biologist” with the Texas Department of Parks will bring a program on conservation to the The Highland Lakes Birding and Wildflower Society titled “Species of Greatest Conservation Need in the Texas Hill Country” Thursday, Feb. 5.

Wendy Anderson, a nature tracker biologist with Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, will explore the bird and mammal species that are at greatest risk – Who are they? Why they are at risk? What is being done to conserve the incredible biodiversity of our region?

The group invites the public to join them as they discover answers to these questions.
