The Burnet County 4H Consumer Decision Making (CDM) Team earned 2nd at the National Consumer Decision Making Contest, held in San Antonio, showcasing the team’s strong preparation, teamwork, and decision-making skills on a national stage.
Individually, team member Liam McDonald earned 2nd High Point, and Christopher Clayton earned 3rd High Point.
The National CDM contest challenges youth to evaluate realworld consumer scenarios by analyzing product information, comparing quality and value, and defending their decisions through oral reasoning.
Burnet County’s team stood out among top competitors from across the country, demonstrating excellence in critical thinking, communication, and financial decisionmaking.
